1948: Israel’s Establishment in Blood and Its Unprovoked Invasion of Lebanon

It withheld support from its Arab allies, discouraged their advance into what was not yet even called “Israel,” and blocked fighters from entering Lebanon from Palestine. Lebanon’s only movement beyond its border was a symbolic 200-meter incursion, a two-minute walk, lasting half a day, after which it willingly withdrew, before any truce was reached. Throughout the entire war, it deliberately avoided combat with Zionist forces, EVEN ON ITS OWN TERRITORY, as confirmed by Israeli intelligence. In 1948, Lebanon’s neutrality spared Israel a northern front and granted it strategic comfort. Yet, barely five months after Israel’s violent creation, Israel invaded Lebanon and carried out massacres of civilians, despite Lebanon’s passivity and total restraint. This remains one of the most hidden, unknown, distorted, and denied chapters of Lebanese history, yet also one of its most consequential. So sit back, get a cup of coffee or tea or water, and witness undeniable proof that to Israel, “neutrality” and “passivity” mean nothing, except an opportunity to put you in a mass grave. Don’t rush. Sit with the evidence. Onwards and Upwards.
